Do you know who you really are?

The word repentance is connected with belief more than behavior. “Repent, and believe in the gospel.” (Mark 1:15). When our belief changes, as a fruit our behavior will change too. First things first.

A very important repentance we need is to change the belief about ourselves – who we are in Christ and who Christ is in us! As we really see the great potential in us we will step up and act accordingly. And as we step out on the vision, we will grow with the vision and the vision will grow with us – a never-ending cycle. There is no limitation to what God can do.

“But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellence of the power may be of God and not of us.” (2 Cor. 4:7) The word treasure comes from the words huper (beyond) and ballo (throw) and carries the idea throwing beyond. Meaning, the power of the treasure in us is superior and in excess – it’s much more than what is ever needed.

Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us.” (Eph. 3:20). As we discover who we are and what has been invested in us, we can step out and act accordingly. Be greatly encouraged as you read this month’s article on “Living the dream,” by Evan Beecham.

We also want to take this opportunity to wish you all a Blessed Christmas and a Prosperous New Year!
