Dr. Steve McVey is a dynamic author and speaker who inspires Christians to develop a deeper, more intimate relationship with God. Before establishing Grace Walk Ministries, he served as pastor of local churches for over twenty years.
Grace Walk was founded in 1996 when McVey experienced a new understanding of God’s love and grace that completely changed his spiritual perspective and personal relationship with God. Steve hosts the nationwide daily Grace Walk radio program, where he shares his biblical view of grace-filled living.
More than 550,000 copies of his books, Grace Walk, Grace Rules, Grace Amazing (formerly Grace Land) The Godward Gaze, A Divine Invitation and The Grace Walk Experience have been published in English, Spanish, French, Russian, Korean, Japanese, Indonesian, Norwegian, Finnish, and Mandarin Chinese. He has also written articles for various periodicals including New Man magazine and the Old Schoolhouse magazine.
An engaging communicator, McVey has appeared on many television and radio broadcasts, such as WORD radio’s Pittsburgh Talks, 100 Huntley Street, It’s Time for Herman and Sharon, PTL, Trinity Broadcasting Network, WCTS Radio in Minneapolis and KCBI in Texas. In addition, he has been a guest speaker at national conventions sponsored by the Christian Booksellers Association (CBA) and Evangelical Press Association and many others.
McVey travels extensively, speaking to people in China, Korea, Japan, India, Holland, England, Bermuda, Africa, Canada, Norway, North and South America.
Dr. McVey earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Mercer University and Master of Arts, Master of Divinity and Doctor of Ministry from Luther Rice Seminary. He and his wife Melanie have four children and three grandchildren. They reside in the Tampa, Florida area.
