Living under Grace Versus Living under the Law

The old covenant was based on the law, and the new covenant is based on Jesus and grace.  For us to understand the huge difference between the old and the new covenant it is essential that we understand the huge difference between living under law and living under grace.  Under the law the focus was on us and our behavior and accomplishment, under grace the focus is entirely on Jesus and His behavior and accomplishment.  We now live in the new covenant and everything is given to us by grace alone.  Our works are never a requirement for God’s blessings but rather a fruit of the new life.

In this month’s newsletter we will look closer at the difference between living under law and living under grace.  Grace is not just a topic amongst other topics; the very Gospel is called “The Gospel of the Grace of God” (Acts 20:24).  The more we understand grace the more we understand the Gospel!

We encourage you to take time and meditate on what’s written in this newsletter, you might even want to read it several times.  It may radically change your life.  The testimony of a minister is also included, telling how the revelation of God’s grace and goodness turned his life around.
